As we knew before that Mayan has already told us that their calendar stop on December 21st, 2012 and it made a bad signal for the entire world to get ready to face the doom's day. IMO, they need another stones to make a new calendar! LOL!

No one knows, even the angels don't know when the Lord will end this world. So, just make your life better and better because YOLO, baby!

I believe there is still love in every heart to keep this world round around. Even God still has a very big heart for us and we can see God's true love now. You still can breathe, see, touch, etc. And maybe the reason why the world is still exist is because of our mothers' love!

Happy Mother's day to you! Actually on this day, all of Indonesians celebrate the Mother's day. So, yeah we still have time to make a quality time with our beloved Mother. Maybe you already said "Happy Mother's day!" to your Mother but maybe some of you didn't do it at all. It's okay, everybody has their own way to show their love and appreciation. You were born through your Mother and some parts of you were created by your Mother. Affection and love can against the hatred and you can learn that from your Mother. I believe every Mom is a superwoman. So please, take care of your Mother and respect her like you love your God.

I think Alicia Key's song, "Superwoman" is appropriate as the theme song of today!

And check another brand new song from her! It has connection to Mother's day, by the way!

She Makes it Happen

It's "A" Day!

After done her pre-concert Love, Life and Music, and Coz We Believe, Agnes Monica finally done her top concert, Agnez: Make it Happen, to celebrate her 20 years of her hard work and dedication in entertainment world, especially as a singer. Not only just to celebrate her 20 years of work, the concert itself  was also for the launching for her brand new album as the bridge for her upcoming international album. Even though Nez didn't talk about when the album will release, she sang three new songs from her new album and the lyrics were full English. They are; Shut Em Up, Flyin' High and Hide and Seek.

Like the previous pre-concert; Love, Life, and Music, and Coz We Believe, Nez brought her international band (Agnezmo Band) and international dancers. And yes! There is Britney Spears' dancer, Sohey! He worked for Britney and now for Agnes Monica. In Agnez: Make it Happen, there are also 20 Dance Like Agnes winners from simPATI and dance together and made the event more festive and huge.

Blow the Bubble Tea

Jadi, sekarang kebanyak para pembisnis memutuskan untuk membuka usaha dengan cara pendek yaitu, franchise. Dari berbagai merek yang ada, salah satu teman saya memutuskan untuk membuka outlet bubble tea terbaru di Indonesia, khususnya Jakarta dan Tangerang. Georg Peck, bubble tea yang berasal dari Taiwan ini akhirnya pertama kali telah melakukan pembukaan untuk pertama kalinya di Plaza Semanggi pada bulan lalu dan pada tanggal 12 Desember 2012, Georg Peck membuka outlet terbarunya di Alam Sutera Mall.

Berikut wawancara saya dengan Rachel, putri dari pemilik franchise GeorgPeck di Indonesia.

Q : Apakah bisnis Georg Peck ini adalah bisnis franchise atau hasil inovasi Anda?
A : Georg Peck ini bukan inovasi dari kami melainkan bisnis franchise dari Taiwan

Q: Mengapa Anda memilih Georg Peck?
A: Kami memilih Georg Peck karena kami melihat potensi besar yang ada di Indonesia, dimana minuman semacam ini sedang berjamur di Indonesia.

Q: Darimanakah Georg Peck berasal? Apakah Anda dapat menceritakan sejarah kronologinya, seperti penemu dan asalnya?
A : Georg Peck ini berasal dari Taiwan. Didirikan pada tahun 2006 oleh seorang pemuda bernama Ke Zi Kay. Georg Peck awalnya hanya menjual 'smoothie drinks' karena Ke Zi Kay sendiri melakukan penelitian bahwa pekerja dari negara barat dan Amerika saja mengkonsumsi minuman seperti itu sebagai sarapan sehat mereka di pagi hari, siang hari ataupun malam. Pada tahun 2006 beliau mendirikan toko pertamanya di jalan Nanyang, Fengyuan District Taichung City dan semakin berkembangnya bisnis ini, Georg Peck menjadi salah satu bisnis minuman franchise tercepat yang berkembang di Taiwan.

Q : Di mana saja Anda membuka outlet Georg Peck? Mengapa?
A : Kami membuka outlet pertama di Plaza Semanggi pada tanggal 16 November 2012 yang lalu. Outlet kami yang kedua akan dibuka di Mall @ Alam Sutera pada tanggal 12 Desember 2012 bersamaan dengan pembukaan dari Mall tersebut. Outlet yang ketiga akan dibuka di Bintaro Xchange tahun depan. 

Q : Apa yang membuat Georg Peck berbeda dengan menu lainnya?
A :  Yang membuat Georg Peck berbeda dari yang lain adalah kami tidak hanya menyediakan bubble tea saja,kami mempunyai banyak pilihan minuman yang bisa anda nikmati. Kami menyediakan Fresh Juice Ice Blended, Coffee Ice Blended, Smootie Drinks yang mana buah-buah yang kami pakai itu sangat bagus kualitasnya. Anda akan selalu puas dengan minuman kami :)

Q: Apa slogan dari Georg Peck? Apakah memiliki arti tertentu?
A: Slogan kami adalah "Let's Cheers" dimana kami ingin setiap orang yang menikmati minuman kami merasakan kebersamaan.

Q: Apa yang membuat Anda yakin bahwa Gerog Peck dapat diterima oleh warga Indonesia?
A: kami yakin masyarakat Indonesia dapat menerima kehadiran Georg Peck. Orang Indonesia sangat suka mencoba sesuatu yang baru, GP menyediakan minuman yang berbeda dan rasa yang membuat orang ingin lagi meminumanya.

Q: Strategi promosi apa yang Anda buat untuk menarik calon pelanggan?
A: Strategi promosi kami adalah dengan sistem Buy 1 Get 1 pada saat pembukaan di Plaza Semanggi minggu lalu lalu memberikan promosi lagi seperti Buy 2 Get 1

Q: Apakah ada rencana untuk membuka outlet di luar pulau Jawa?
A: Kami belum memiliki rencana untuk membuka outlet di luar pulau Jawa. Mungkin kami akan fokus dulu di dalam  terlebih dulu.

Q: Apa harapan Anda kepada Georg Peck untuk kedepannya?
A:  Harapan kami untuk Georg Peck ke depannya tentu agar Georg Peck dapat berkembang sukses di Indonesia dan di tempat lain juga.

Bagi saya, Georg Peck adalah bubble tea yang berbeda dengan berbagai menu yang beragam dan memiliki rasa yang unik. Terlebih lagi, mereka menyediakan menu kopi yang turut meramaikan dan cocok bagi kalian yang menyukai kopi. Selamat mencoba!

Agnes Monica: I'm Young but I'm Right (Part 5)

She Won’t Stop

Big news comes from Agnes Monica and it’s from one of the biggest music awards for Asian, The MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards). Nez got a special award for the Best Asian Artist. The award itself is pure from the judges because it is a special award and not counts from vote, like the other nominees. The MAMA was held in Hong Kong and attended by various Asian artists. Rumor has it that they will hold MAMA in Indonesia especially Jakarta, next year.

Agnezmo

Nez finally released her EPK (Electronic Press Kit) officially to her new website; www.agnezmo.com, just not long after an incident of the leaked video teaser before. In the video, there are some of her photo shoot activities and we can hear some parts of her brand new and catchy international song.

It’s Only the Beginning

On December 2, 2012, Agnes revealed that she is the part of the young delegates to participate in one of the United Nations’ events for young people. The event itself is called ICPD (International Conference on Population Development) – Global Youth Forum, under UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) and held in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia on October 4 – 6, 2012. Nez had the opportunity as the host and gave her speech about her journey to dream, believe and make it happen. Nez was not alone because Timbaland was alongside her and they had made the theme song for that event. For the very first time, Agnes and Timbaland were in one stage and sang the theme song together in front of nearly a thousand invitations and delegates. The song to motivate young people to make the better world called “Show a Little Love”.  Unfortunately we can’t hear the song until the official launching in Grammy’s week in February 2013. Hopefully, Agnes Monica and Timbaland will sing the song for one more time in that big event and the world can hear it.

Agnes Monica: I'm Young but I'm Right (Part 4)

MUDA

Finally Agnes released her latest single “Muda (Le O Le o)” and it’s officialy relesead on November 9, 2012 and the song itself talked about the struggle of someone to catch his/her dream but it’s never been easy. The song is so inspiring with the touch of Agnes’ hands as the composer.

I have to say that I am a big fan of Agnes Monica. I recognized her when she played in “PernikahanDini”, even before that, actually I watched “Tralala – Trilili” but I didn’t really pay attention because I was still a kid. I used to dance whenever I watched the opening of “Pernikahan Dini” because it was an upbeat song and Agnes was dancing with big curly wig. Then I started to watch every of her sinetron, like; Amanda, Cewekku Jutek, Ku T’lah Jatuh Cinta, etc. I truly remembered that I realized that I had a talent in dancing when I watched “BukanMilikmuLagi”. I followed they she danced with her dancers and I was still a mess. Then finally I really danced for Art’s subject when I was in Junior High School with “Tak Ada Logika” and they just loved to watch me, and it made me more believe with my dancing talent. After that, I danced again for one more time when I was in Senior High School with “GodaiAkuLagi” (remix version). I also bought Agnes’ albums, such as; “Whaddup A!?”, “Sacredly Agnezious” (which I lost it) and “Agnes is My Name”. I watched Agnes’ performance for the very first time was at Emporium Mall (2011), when the mall celebrated their second anniversary and invited Agnes to perform. It was an amazing experience because I could she her right in front of my eyes, and yes, she always all out and beautiful. The second was when she launched “Agnes is My Name” in KFC Kemang. The third was when Central Park Mall invited her to perform in Christmas’ event. The fourth, when she performed in Pekan Raya Jakarta 2012 (PRJ). Next when she performed for “Launching of Honda Brio”, then “Love, Life and Music” in ANTV. And the last was in Trans TV when she performed for her special event “Agnes: Coz We Believe”. Besides, I have met and watched the other event of her, such as; “Indonesian Idol 2010: Fantastic Four”, and her speech event for “Dream, Believe and Make it Happen!” at At America, Pacific Place. Agnes has changed my life. I was the ordinary one, but now I have a bravery to dream about my future and make it happen, no matter what I’m going to face. Her principle; “Dream, Believe and Make it Happen” is very great to live life to the fullest. She never forgets her God and she always proud of her family especially her Mom and always says thanks to her (die hard) fans. She has 100% dedication for her life to be the best artist and never get tired to practice and make it perfect. She doesn’t have time to take care for them who hate and mock her. Because she knows that they will never walk in front her and that is why they always left behind. Agnes is a strong woman and proved that there is a miracle inside every dream.  I want to be like her, even more like her and ready to face those things and always keep my faith.

Nez’ Top 5 Performances

1.       Trans Corp. 10th Anniversary

Agnes as the opening and sang medley, and they were; “Karena Ku Sanggup”, “Janji-Janji”, “Temperature”, “Yamko Rambe Yamko” and “Paralyzed”. Agnes and Trans Corp. always make a great collaboration. She has done her very bestin her performance and Trans Corp. could send the message to the watchers even there is a technic problem in camera.

2.       RCTI 23rd Anniversary

Agnes sang three songs in medley such as; “Temperature”, “Paralyzed” (English version for the very first time) and “Shake it off”. She introduced her international crews started from dancers and band. They did great but RCTI could not send the message. They must train their cameramen.

3.       Asia Song Festival 2009

Agnes performed in South Korea while she had a serious injury on her ankle. However the show was spectacular and the committee chose her to sing “Heal the World” with a short preparation but she did it very well. Besides “Heal the World”, she sang “Shake it off” and “Temperature” an unreleased single. She also performed a stomping dance.

4.       Trans Corp. 8th Anniversary (tribute to Michael Jackson)

Besides she sang some of MJ’s songs, she also did a speech about the world nowadays, like what she has done in ASF 2009.

5.       KemilauMandiri Fiesta

Agnes sang “Karena Ku Sanggup” and after the bridge, she said “You won’t say I’m lip-sync again after this!” then she reached the highest note that she ever showed.

1.       Hanya Cinta Yang Bisa (featuring Titi DJ)

This song is from “...And the Story Goes...” and not about a love song but also there is another message about what love can do.

2.       Coz’ I Love You

This song is not about a broken heart but it is about the fight of a true lover, and the lyrics were simple and great. You can find this song from “Sacredly Agnezious”.

3.       Cinta Di Ujung Jalan

The lyrics of this song are so honest and painful. Agnes said that this is her favorite song because of the message. This song is from “Whaddup A!?”.

4.       Godai Aku Lagi

An upbeat song that made by Agnes is so unique with English for the bridge. The composition and the elements of this song are good, and Agnes has shown her ability to be a songwriter.

1.       Paralyzed

This song has two version, one is Indonesian and another is English. She claimed that she recorded “Paralyzed” in London. Another upbeat song with a new taste from Agnes Monica.

5.       Temperature

An unreleased single that Agnes made and composed. This song is very sexy and seductive, with claps and sounds of siren as the elements of this song.

1.       Karena Ku Sanggup

A song that Agnes Monica wrote by herself and she claimed it as the most honest song that she ever wrote.

Nez’ TOP 3 Sinetron

1.       Kawin Muda

In “Whaddup A!?” era, Agnes had done some sinetron and one of them was “KawinMuda”. The type of this sinetron was a comedy – romantic, and Agnes played very nice with Okan Cornelius. “Tak Ada Logika” was a theme song for this sinetron.

2.       Pernikahan Dini

Agnes had a role for this sinetron when she was still a teenager. She has shown her acting skill and she gained a lot of fame through this sinetron.

3.       Pejantan Cantik - Marissa

These were Agnes’ latest sinteron. PejantanCantik for the first season and continued Marissa as the second season. Agnes introduced “Paralyzed” as the theme song of the sinetron and she played one more time with the casts from “Kawin Muda”.
