Agnes would not talk to publics about her love life and she just wanted to talk about her experiences and achievements. She ever said that she’s a desperately romantic lady. She always takes care of her boyfriend, even he doesn’t deserve it. Until one day she released her new single after “Janji-Janji”, and she claimed that the song was the most honest song that she ever wrote. “Karena Ku Sanggup” was a ballad song with the story of a broken heart girl and she believed that she could stand without the one who hurt her. Agnes has shown her new skill of singing (strong and high falsetto) and many of her fans or the listener got surprise from her voice. For one more time, this oriental lady has shown her ability to be the great musician.

World, Let Me Introduce Myself...

Another big news shocked Indonesia. Agnes has participated as the red carpet international co-host in American Music Awards 2010 (AMA 2010) withother co-hosts; Christian Chavez (America Latin singer) and Liu Yin (Chinese singer). Agnes said that she got that offered by phone at six AM and she was still sleepy when she answered the phone. She didn’t know how the Dick Clark Production noticed her existence, but they told her that they did some research about her through internet. Agnes didn’t just appear as a red carpet international co-host, but also performed with Christian Chavez and sang a Christian’s single; “En DondeEstas” on the red carpet stage corner. They mixed the song with Bahasa and English and both of Brazilian and Indonesian fans are excited for their collaboration. Christian invited Agnes to sing with him for one more time in his DVD concert (2012) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and his fans were so welcoming Agnes and nice to her. Not just stop right there, after AMA 2010, Agnes met many international producers and musician. Whereas Agnes claimed that now she works with Timbaland for her big project. Agnes also did a duet with the legendary; Michael Bolton and they recorded Michael’s favorite song; “Said I Love You but I Lied” for Michael’s duet album; Gems: The Duet Album. Another surprised revealed that Agnes was the first Indonesian artist who got nomination for Worldwide Act Asia Pacific in MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 (MTV EMA) which it was held in Belfast and Jessie J was the host. Mike Posner was made a video with Agnes about to support and vote her for MTV EMA. Besides, she is the first Indonesian artist who got nomination for Favorite Asian Act in Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards 2012 (KCA) which hosted by Will Smith. Agnes won the Most Populi Award in the Shorty Awards 2012 which held in New York, and she was the first Asian who got a lot categories and received an award from it.

Her Name is About to Paralyze the World

“Agnes is My Name”, was Agnes’ latest album. The first best of Agnes Monica album with two singles; “Karena Ku sanggup” and “Paralyzed”. The woman who loves badminton said that “Paralyzed” was recorded in London and had two versions; English and Bahasa. Which in this album, she put a Bahasa version. She also featured “Paralyzed” for her latest sinetron with Okan Cornelius; “PejantanCantik” and “Marissa”. Agnes was very excited about the making of her MV (Paralyzed). She combined Indonesia’s culture and western with her own style. David Lehre, who was her partner in AMA 2010 worked with her to make this MV in Los Angeles, California. Tricia Miranda, a choreographer for international artist also worked with her. Agnes said that this MV was about her transition and everybody could be paralyzed when she was in the area. She worked very hard for this MV, started from the choreography until the outfits which were made by her own clothing line; Anye by Agnes Monica.

No Pain No Gain

Agnes has received a lot of achievements and they are the prove of her hard work and her dedication to be the true artist and performer. Whenever she got the nomination, the audience or even the hosts itself always expect that Agnes will be the winner. Agnes grows with her achievements and not with cheap gossips and sensations. She grows with many critics and mocks. But above of all, she always says that she enjoy the process not the finish line or the result. Her life or elevation is not easy like what the others think. Whenever she walked on the stage to receive the achievement, she would say thanks to God, because she knew that it all happened for God’s permission. Agnes always wants to be the best and perfect, and hopefully her life can be an inspiration for her fans.

It’s A Day

Agnes has done her two big shows on Trans TV and ANTV in the middle of August. She made it as the warming up for her next big project called #20AgnesMonica. She brought her international crews such as band and dancers. The brand new band named  Agnezmo Band and one of them is Beyonce’s music director; Kimberly Burse. The preparation itself was so intense and Nez called it as Spartan’s rehearsal.

Agnes Monica: I'm Young but I'm Right (Part 2)

Whaddup A!?

 

Agnes has produced her second album titled “Whaddup A?!” in the end of 2006. It was a transition from a teenage girl to be a young woman. In this album she did collaboration with international singer from US, Keith Martin for “I’ll Light a Candle”. We could say that this was her most successful album, and her voice got more mature and stronger. “Tak Ada Logika” was the most hit single and we used to see her signature moves (stomping right foot), and the song was featured for her sinetron; “Kawin Muda”. She also answered Medias’ challenge to wear traditional costume (kebaya) in “Tanpa Kekasihku”. In this era, Agnes has done her first concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She sang from “Pernikahan Dini” era until “Whaddup A!?” era. Even though the concert was not successful enough because the date of it was the hectic day for Malaysian students but the number of watchers were good. Haters said that Malaysian better watch Britney Spears than Agnes Monica, even Agnes has done her very best for her Malaysian fans. Agnes also featured as the opening for Boyz 2 Men, where there was a rumor that she was going to do collaboration with them but it’s canceled.

 

Walk Around Asia...

 

The daughter of Ricky Muljoto and Jenny Siswono has introduced herself in Asia. She played a role for “Romance in the White House” with Peter Ho and “The Hospital” with Jerry Yan. She also did a duet with Jerry Yan when he visited Jakarta. Agnes spoke Mandarin fluently and as always, her acting was great. In 2007, Agnes performed for Asian Idol and sang “Get Up”. Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange also invited her to perform in Seoul for Asia Song Festival 2008 and 2009, as the Best Asian Artist and The Best Performance. The crowd was so satisfied with her performance and asked her to perform again (in 2009). ASF has been watched over 35,000 audiences and aired in 30 countries. She also performed for Festival of Life, an event to remember 50 years of diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and Japan. Besides, Drugs Enforcement Administration (DEA) and IDEC Far East Region stated her to be the Anti-Drugs Ambassador for Asia, and MTV stated her as MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) for Asia. She has proved to Asia that besides she is a great artist, she also has a healthy way to live. Agnes also as the face of Olay for Asia and has been participated as Asian Young Leader with Dian Sastrowardoyo. This dog’s lover has been interviewed with Nicholas Saputra for AMP around Asia in Channel V and watched by many people throughout Asia. Agnes has participated in South East Asia Games 2011 (SEA Games) to sing the theme song in the opening ceremony; “Together We Will Shine”, with Jacklyn Victor (Malaysian singer) and KC Conception (Philippines singer), and sang “Kita Bisa (Wa E Wa E O)” with Nidji and Afgan, also “Shake it Off” from Sacredly Agnezious for the closing ceremony. Agnes won seven categories in Japan International Music Awards 2011 (JIMA).

The Sun Will Always Shine...

 

 

It’s been a long time since “Dan Tak Mungkin” as her latest single from “Whaddup A!?”, and finally, Agnes gave a surprise for her fans about her new single titled “Matahariku”. This song was featured for her brand new sinetron; “Jelita” with Dirly Idol and Nino Fernandez. Her MV (Matahariku) has been the most watched, for about five millions time on YouTube. After Agnes released Matahariku, she released another single; “Godai Aku Lagi” where the rumor said that Agnes made and compose this song when she was in US to study about music. Another upbeat song and we could watch Agnes and NezindaHood for one more time. The MV itself, featuring Indonesian actor, Richard Kevin. This song also as the theme song for her next sinetron (after Jelita) titled; “Kawin Massal”. She sang those songs for the first time in RCTI’s anniversary. To reduce the piracy, Agnes produced a mini album named “NEZ”. It contained 2 songs (“Godai Aku Lagi” and “Matahariku”) with some of her exclusive photos and the price was only IDR 15.000,-. The enthusiasms to wait for a new album from fans were so great. Agnes has offered something short one and there was an accident when she cut her hair for one more time, so her hair was getting shorter.

Sacredly Agnezious

 

 

After “Matahariku” and “Godai Aku Lagi”, this fans of Fantasia (winner of American Idol 3) released another single; “Teruskanlah” and as the opening to launch her third album; “Sacredly Agnezious”. She said that this album was proved of her hard work, because she was the producer for her third album. She wrote several songs for this album, such as; “Godai Aku Lagi”, “Coz I Love You”,  “Shake it Off”, etc. Agnes claimed that this album is the truth of her and that’s why she named it “Sacredly Agnezious”. Agnes must be proud of herself because from this album, she got many achievements and one of them is Album Terbaik-Terbaik (Best of the Best Album) in Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) 2010. Agnes has shown her martial arts skill through her latest MV for “Sacredly Agnezious”, titled; “Janji-Janji” featuring Indonesian heartthrob, Yama Carlos. The process itself was quite dangerous and Agnes got a serious injury to her ankle and it’s broken. On the other hand, the only sister of Steve Muljoto had to perform perfectly in Asia Song Festival 2009 with that condition and she has done her very best to entertain South Korea.

 

When the idol created a new idol...

It was very big news, when Agnes decided to join Indonesian Idol 2010 as one of the judges with Erwin Gutawa and Anang Hermansyah. She said that she didn’t want to be a judge but she wanted to be a friend for the contestants, so she could share her experience in music industry to them. She didn’t want to make herself as the same one with a twitter user, who can judge without any knowledge and without attitude. The show itself became the most watched TV program in Indonesia. Agnes performed for the very first time in Indonesian Idol on the premiere of spectacular night with “Godai Aku Lagi”. This best friend of Greysia Poli also joined Indonesian Idol 2012 with two other judges; Ahmad Dhani and Anang Hermansyah. Agnes always shares her experience to the contestants and forces them to elevate their performances to make it as their best in every week, and from there, we can she her hard work and consistency to be the best artist.

The First Spotlight...

 

Agnes Monica Muljoto, or as we have known; Agnes Monica, has started her career in entertainment world as a singer in her six years old. “Si Meong”, was her very first (kid) album, and then followed by “Yess!” and “Bala-Bala”. She also made herself as a presenter for Tralala – Trilili with Indra Bekti as her partner on RCTI, and Video Anak Anteve (VAN) on ANTV. She got Panasonic Awards 1999 and 2000 for “Pembawa Acara Anak-Anak Favorit” (Favorite Kid Presenter).

 

Another Miles Away to Go...

 

The woman who was born in Jakarta, on July 1, 1986, was not stopping right there. She continued her journey as an actress for several sinetron (soap operas) and she gained a big fame when she played a role as a main actress in “Pernikahan Dini” with Sahrul Gunawan, on RCTI. She also sang the theme songs for it; they were “Pernikahan Dini” and “Seputih Hati”. Finally, Indonesia could hear her voice for one more time in her teenage age and she extended her existence as an actress while she was a teenager.

 

And the Story Goes...

Nez (Agnes Monica’s nickname), finally produced her first (mature) album and named it “And the Story Goes...” with “Bilang Saja” as her first single. She has spent for 1, 5 years to produce this album and she was the first singer with her own dancers called; “NezindaHood”. Many international singers have inspired her to be a high class singer, such as; Britney Spears, Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera. She also featured Michael Jackson’s style in her next single “Indah”. Agnes was the first singer who offered dance while singing and the people started to compare her with Janette Jackson and Madonna. Indonesian has announced her as the Britney Spears of Indonesia, but Agnes didn’t really have to care about it, because she always focuses on her track.

 

When Dreaming is a Sin...

The woman, who likes black, has ever told Indonesia that she wanted to go international, when she was 17 years old. From there, Medias overexposed her words and people started to judge her as an arrogant and innocent girl. However, she always on her principle to be the best artist and make her dream comes true. Many haters were about to create and they always mock her dream and not just her dream, but also her performance. They never stop to compare Agnes’ performance with international divas. But from life and it must be made her stronger. In 2011, At America invited Agnes to give a speech about her principle. She talked a lot about her journey and it all happened based on her principle; “Dream, Believe and Make it Happen”.

 

We are Here, Nez...

Agnes always says that whenever Medias ask her opinion about her haters. But there must be a lover/supporter beside her and they named themself as NezindaClub (NIC). Started from Yahoo! Group or mailing list with several numbers of fans in 2005, and they always love to watch her performances and shouted to send their love to their idol. Agnes and her management (Agnes Monica ENT) realized about their existence and made NezindaClub as the official name for her fans and brought some of them to be the part of Agnes’ management to take care of Agnes’ fans. She loves to say thanks for NIC or her fans, because she knows that she can stand until now, it’s all because of her fans.

In my opinion, Mr. Tatum deserved it because hell yeah, he has a handsome face and a great shape body. His acting skill is georgeous and his dancing skill is awesome. What makes him more sexy is, he doesn't regret his past. As we know, Channing has told the world that he was a stripper and he made money from that job. His past makes him more mature until now and we can see his strpping skill in his latest movie; Magic Mike. Congratulations, once again!
